There will be a pantry area to the right of the refrigerator.
This is the front of the bathroom where the sink will be located to the left. There will be a pocket door between the shower area and the sink area.

The toilet (another important commodity in a modern bathroom) will be right under the window.
To the right of the new window in the bathroom will be the shower.
Skip putting insulation in the ceiling of the cellar stairway.
The insulation in the new bedroom ceiling.
The washer and dryer are upstairs in their new spot.
The fridge is now in the new kitchen.

This is where the tub and shower once were located.
The tub and toilet are out. We are reusing the sink, though.
This is the beginning of the bathroom demolition.
Another view of the deck. The trash cans are there to keep people from walking too close to the edge. The boards were not fastened down yet. Skip had to wait to do that until the building inspect0r came out.
The new back door painted.
The new deck. Now Snoopy can come in the single door or (believe it or not) he can jump up through the new double door. He really prefers the new big door.
Sheet rock in the old bedroom. No more log cabin atmosphere.
Footings for the deck.
No more kitchen window. It is weird standing there doing dishes without being able to look out.
Dad and Mike working on the siding.
It looks really nice with the siding on.
The siding is on the new part of the house.
This is the new kitchen window from the outside.
This is the new window in the old office. This is where the sink will be in the new kitchen. It looks out toward the driveway. I'll sort of miss all the action on Collings Ave. that I used to see.
This is the wall that faces the bathroom. Notice the white rectangle. That is the back of the medicine cabinet. The silver piece across the bottom of the picture is what dad put up for our headboard so the pillows don't fall down behind the mattress. Fancy!
This is the bedroom wall that faces Collings Ave.
The bedroom ceiling. It really was like being in a cabin. Dark but, fun.
This is the wall in our bedroom that is on the living room side.
This is the old door to our bedroom. Notice the sheet draping across the top. There was no wall there.
This is our old bedroom without walls the door you see is the one that opens from the dining room where the closet used to be.
