This floor will look great for a long time to come. Lovingly installed by Skip.

The floor has terrific grain and is made up of varying widths.
More floor; very smooth and good for sliding on in sock feet.
The door on the left is the bedroom closet and the doorway on the right goes to the hall which now has a new floor on it. That is waiting to be stained.
More bedroom floor. What a shine.
The new floor is finished in the bedroom and we have moved in! It is very cozy.

The kitchen floor extends just a bit into the dining room. There is going to be a glass fronted cabinet on the dining room side of the wall shown above. It will replace our oldest china cabinet from when we were first married. It was bought second hand from a friend of Skip's grandmother. It is definitely seen better days.
The tile floor in the new kitchen is all down. Next it has to be sealed and grouted. Cabinets are due on Friday. Yeah!!!
The shower made its debut on Friday evening! What a treat! We are all thankful.

This is the one coming into the new bedroom. Ophelia still thinks this is the way to get out.
One for the closet in the new bedroom (aka the old kitchen).
One for the bathroom. Yeah! Now I can go without my entire entourage following me.
One in the kitchen going to the back door.
Doors came this week.
The toilet is back in action downstairs. A brand new one at that.

There will be a pantry area to the right of the refrigerator.
This is the front of the bathroom where the sink will be located to the left. There will be a pocket door between the shower area and the sink area.

The toilet (another important commodity in a modern bathroom) will be right under the window.
To the right of the new window in the bathroom will be the shower.
Skip putting insulation in the ceiling of the cellar stairway.
The insulation in the new bedroom ceiling.
The washer and dryer are upstairs in their new spot.
The fridge is now in the new kitchen.

This is where the tub and shower once were located.
The tub and toilet are out. We are reusing the sink, though.
This is the beginning of the bathroom demolition.
